At Social Brothers, this is the perfect combination to get started with the Traineeship Front-end Development, where you will be prepared in three months to get started as a Junior Front-end Developer.
The Traineeship Front-end Development at Social Brothers consists of different phases, in which you focus on learning, developing and applying. Within our WordPress team, development and the application of the latest techniques and tools are paramount. For example, we use Svelte, TypeScript, Twig and Yarn.

What does the Traineeship look like?
You will be employed directly by Social Brothers and within the Front-end WordPress team you will be fully trained to become a Junior Front-end Developer after three months. You will receive a personal supervisor from the team, but of course all experts in the Front-end WordPress team are ready to answer your questions.
The Traineeship consists of three phases, namely: Phase 1: Learning, Phase 2: Developing and Phase 3: Applying. During each phase there is a focus on a different part, which you then include in your daily work in the team and for your own customers.
Phase 1: Learning
The first month is devoted to training. You will get started with training courses from Svelte and Typescript, among others, and of course you will participate in the daily stand-ups from day one.
Phase 2: Developing
The second phase, which takes place in the second month of the Traineeship, focuses on development. This means that you can watch the work of all experts in the team, but also that you can already apply the learned practice in assignments, in which you can show what you have to offer.
Phase 3: Applying
From the third month you will start working on projects. You put all the knowledge you have learned into practice and with the right guidance from the experts in our teams, at the end of this final phase you will be completely ready to start your career as a Junior Front-end Developer at Social Brothers.

How We Hire
The first step is to submit your application. A motivation letter isn’t necessary, but please enclose your resumé. You will receive a response within a few days.
If your profile matches our expectations, we will invite you for an introduction. This will be a conversation of up to 1 hour. In this interview you will hear everything about the position and together we will determine whether the position and the company are right for you.
After a good click during the introduction, you will have the opportunity to make an assessment that has been made for this position. In this assessment, your substantive skills are tested and you can immediately see what you have to offer.
When you have rocked the assessment and the click between you and the company is good, we will invite you for a second interview at our office. During this interview you will get to know your direct supervisor and the HR Employee. You indicate what your ambitions are and why you think you fit Social Brothers and the position.
After the second interview, it’s time to tie the knot for both of us. We will come up with a contract proposal if we are positive and we are of course very curious about your response.
